Well damn now my good Friend Tom is going to be walking away from the chipping world! Not!! Congratulations on the Lakeshores Brother!! Everything you have done buying and selling in this great community including helping Brie and I out countless times has built you up on chipping Karma! It is awesome and no surprise that @Potsie1 was the one that was able to return that Karma!!

To those who complain that the forum is dying and getting boring. That post last night, if you can't feel the emotion as Tom type that message out, the absolute aww of owning what they call a "GRAIL SET" your personal dream that you don't think will ever happen... doesn't matter what you do, nobody is ever going to sell THOSE CHIPS TO ME! Then that day hits!! Like many others I have experienced that joy.... man that post right there is what this hobby is all about!!!

Congratulations Tom you have put in the work of helping countless members, buying and selling at no mark up!! You number came up, you cashed in. Sit back and enjoy your forever set brother!! I hope someday Brie and I can make the journey to see them in person!!

Thank you PCF as always being absolutely the best forum out there and helping a close personal friends dreams come true!!

Forever your Chippin Brother Ben!!!
Thanks for the kind words Ben! It's been quite a ride but I'm loving it, Once my games get up and going you guys are always welcome at my table ! :)

Yap, got fooled by the lighting. Thanks both, I'll have to wait for my color samples before I decide on what I want what I really really want.

I just can’t get over this feeling, ever since I saw @RainmanTrail first post his Lakeshore pron when I joined and every time since which is a lot cause he loves to show them off (I can’t blame him though :D) I’ve been green with envy. Agonizing over chip perfection. I bought and sold hundreds, nay thousands, of chips trying to reach the perfect set but the Lakeshores were always there gnawing at my chipping soul. Then when he auctioned off part of his set I scrounged for funds like crazy, sold off chips at the time I never thought I would, talked to a dozens of people about possibly splitting it with me but I’m the end I fell short (touché to @navels). Months or years past, I’m not sure which it seemed like lifetimes, the auction thread was continually bumped, and a part of me was lost each time I had to relive what I though might be my only chance for possibly decades if not ever of getting a set of Lakeshores. I lived my life the best I could but always had that feeling that something was missing until one day I got a tip, a glimmer of hope, a sign from above, that there still might be a chance. I reached out, I followed it up relentlessly with no expectation of success yet with more energy than I knew I had. I made charts, I wrote essays, I pleaded, I groveled, I begged (big thank you for not getting too annoyed by me :D). Eventually one day Jim my savior got to a place where he was ready to part with some of his beloved set and was kind enough to share this greatness of chipping grail so another chipper could get a chance to live their chip dream.

Thank you again and all the best chipping karma to you Jim and everyone else who helped (@JeepologyOffroad @RocAFella1) and supported me on this endeavor, these chips blow me away and I cannot wait to love them for the rest of my life.
congrats!

TEN DAYS and still not on island, but after sitting without the PO doing anything, at all, ever but maybe
using them to prop open a door, they are finally moving now like they have a purpose in life and moved
from LAX to Hawaii in less than 3 days
11 days later still waiting
With any luck they will be on island tomorrow for a TRUE SLOWROLL unboxing :P
