@judgeanjury No the High Hand plaque isn’t meant for Hi Lo card games. It is meant to see who has the highest hand in one of your games at the end of night. Let’s say you have a 9 person game and you are awarding a High hand of the night. You then all agree for example to put in $5 each towards the high hand of the night. You would then maybe set the minimum hand let’s say be Aces Full. So in order to start the first person to get an aces full house would get the Plaque to hold. Let’s say player one Gets aces over jacks on the third hand of the night he would be given the High hand Plaque. Then player 8 ten hands later gets quad queens. Then the high hand plaque would be handed to player 8. If the quad queens holds up as the beast hand the whole night then he would be awarded the $45 when the game is over. In casinos when they run high hands they usually award high hands every 30 minutes or every hour because they have many tables going on at once. But for a home cash game or tournament it is usually high hand for the night.
