Also thank you to our new friend @Theluckyhand2 !! The CDI 1ks made it safe and sound!! Can't leave feedback as we did that trade behind the scenes but you are off to a great start!! I hope your chips made it as well?? Post them here when they come in buddy!!

From what I've seen over the years, Light Pink is notorious for yellowing. Something to do with the ingredients they use to make that color I guess. The Light Pink in brand new Paulson color sample sets come like that too. There are 2 or 3 other colors that do the same. Almond is one. Can't remember the others.

It is very strange, you can see from this one that I removed the inlay on that the yellowing occurred under the inlay.

These sure clean up nice though!

Aww man that royally sucks!! Brie and I had a huge box of chips that exploded on a plane from Vegas a while back... not sure if she still has the pics. They made us come to the post office and look at the package. Basically the box exploded, the seller did not box them well and put like 2000 slugged chips in a giant box. They cleaned them up and put them in a huge USPS bag. They wouldn't let us touch the bag or count them. They said "sign for it and they are yours, otherwise they are going back to the seller" we decided to sign and we only lost about 10 chips luckily.

This looks like your stuff was stolen, since they put new tape on it, it looks like it happened in the postal service, so where are the contents now??? Guessing there were several racks in that box? No explanation?? Just we don't know what happened and you are screwed?

I mean I believe they cover like $100s or whatever, but that's not even close to what that package was worth I'm guessing? Very very sorry to see this happen to you buddy!

Through swapping and acquiring chips to get my set the way I want it I ended up 1 label short. Not 1 chip short but 1 label on one side of 1 chip

But it doesn't make sense for them to take stuff that isn't destined for them. I'm probably just shit out of luck and they'll claim that I shipped a prohibited item.

The usps is wrong, file a police report and a stolen packages claim immediately! Also take screen shots of all the tracking info, before they change it and erase the fact it ever went to "QATAR"

75 days is probably the cut off for filing a claim. if the convince you to wait that long they can just dismiss the case. Be careful, I would do everything in my power to file now! Isit legal to own poker chips where you are? How are we supposed to control where our mail travels through? I mean if it is against the law to own them then I would say you risk this every single time, but man that is some BS if you did nothing wrong!

I was just got off the phone with customer service and got an email confirmation with a case number. You are absolutely correct that I have no control over where my mail goes. I got 2 barrels from TCR and my 820pc prestige set with no problems when they went through Istanbul (where all military mail destined for turkey goes). There are no casino or gaming establishments in turkey but it's not illegal to be in possession of "gambling devices" like chips, cards, dice etc. I know a few people that had poker tables built by off base vendors here.

Qatar OTOH is very strict when it comes to that stuff. But it should have never gone there in the first place. I have zero expectation of getting anything from the USPS. I'll probably just order more and have them sent to a flight attendant friend of mine that flies into the base every week
