How do they look in person?
Definitely a few standouts, the snapper is incredible, the $2 looks great, I like both $100s, primary $25 is nice. The $1 and $5 aren't bad, definitely better in person than photos. The 43mm are lackluster imo, but blaze is blaze and pops regardless. The $25k oversized labels are pretty unfortunate, the primary could have been a real fabulous chip.
The $25 Grand Opening is the best oversized inlay I've ever seen.

This are fantastic. I thought these were Paulson reliables at first glance. The colors are amazing. Sorry you are let down by the $500, but as an outsider this set is glorious.

It looks like most of the chips I can see have edge spots that are out of alignment. Did you opt not to get aligned edge spots, or did they just fail to align them properly despite paying for it? If so, is this widespread throughout the set?
Yep this^. I love Cali sets and am picky about the yellow despite CPC’s improvements. I think I’m going to try again without a base yellow this time though.Yellow.
It doesn’t cost extra but I think it’s hit or miss. Usually is fairly close though. For 30¢ chip shipped it’s tough to argue the quality in hand tho

Definitely hit or miss Travis.
I did notice that the spots are out of alignment. I'd say about 50% of my chips have "out of alignment" spots.
However, now that they have landed and the overall cost of the set with shipping into Canada was around $420USDs, I'm quite taken with them. Very happy. I'd venture to say the non-chippers won't even notice.
I'm absolutely thrilled at this price point, and even though the T500 didn't work for me, I'm delighted with the set.
I won't hesitate to execute a couple more ideas I have, and I'll improve my results.

Thanks to @Senzrock for the cool chips and cases! I had my eye on the Binion's 5 for a while so when he had this and the 25 up for grabs, I picked them up. I thought the Sahara-Dunes chip looked really nice and it will help me work through a quick project I'm poking on so it will come in handy.

As you can see, I clearly took inspiration from you as I was cleaning some grime away. I even MacGyver'ed a makeshift cleaning station with a yogurt tub (which turned out to be pretty excellent as you can easily put aside the brush and toothpick).
The madness continues!
