Lol, what do you mean, you were right, no?

Correct, there are 2 inlays, on the front of the chip is the dogs head, and the same dog saying on every chip. On the back, just the bone, no doggie head, and each denom has a different dog saying.

I couldn’t decide spot colors for the frac, so I got 2 different options (pri and sec), and I couldn’t decide on spot pattern for the $20 so I got both.

I think I might order 1000 of the $1s and turn those into a limit set, so one rack of $20s could be for the limit set and the other rack for the regular cash set.

I think this set (along with my love of Chickens) proves that I have a “type”. The brighter the better!!

There seems to be animal themes that you like to go for too. Boy, do I have a deal for you....

@moechar ;)

I'll do a dedicated thread to this set once I get the factory dust wiped off of them (which won't be any time soon, since I'm traveling a bit in the near term). But I don't want this to go any further without a HUGE thank you to @p5woody, who designed these inlays for me. I have been wanting to do customs for YEARS, and just couldn't come up with a theme. I sent Woody a couple of ideas, and he created these inlays, and I was in love from the moment I saw them. Finally, I could order customs.

HUGE thank you to @p5woody. I'm so thankful to have this set, before he decided to hang up his cleats, so to speak.

@liftapint you like dogs?? I got dogs that change color, dogs that fly, dogs with super long necks, dogs with black and white strips AND dogs that can shoot water out of their nose.

So jealous of Mel’s customs. Really knocked it out of the park @liftapint thanks a million for the sample set.

Those turned out amazing! Which yellow is used on the $20?
I'll answer all this stuff when I open a thread (need time for photos of the whole set).

But the $20 is DG yellow base.

I think CPC base colors look very different depending on what spot colors you pair with them. The two different fracs look COMPLETELY different in stacks, because the DG pink gives it a lighter look, versus the Blurple spot. And my $20 DG yellow looks different from some other recent sets that have come out, that used different spot colors with it.

NAGB add-on??

Never again am I cleaning Damn gold solid chips!! Took me 4 plus months to talk myself into the second rack of them. It can be done @jpietrella but it takes hours and hours and tons of patience buddy! Takes about 3 - 4 hours per barrel. Not just scrubbing but also scraping anything that doesn't look like the original gold, those are a totally different animal and by far the hardest chips I have ever cleaned... and they honestly weren't even that bad to start with. Uggh good luck

Holy hell. Do you happen to have before and after pics?

Unfortunately I do not have before pics... but you guys know what they look like, weird like gray discoloration... doesn't really look like hooker juice. Looks more like abnormalities in the clay, but it's not... just regular old nastiness!

Still not perfect but this was all the effort I was willing to give! Lol AFTER

You can see 3 up 2nd from the right still has a little bit in the center there. God I royally hated cleaning these! Haha

Another couple of clean barrels

Wow. Well, I've got plenty of time on my hands because I don't expect to have custom labels for these for quite some time.

Do you need to use any less harsh chemicals for the initial soak to avoid ruining the gold metallic? Are there any items I need to stay away from or is it just 100% more elbow grease and time?

I only use dish soap and elbow grease on Hot Stamps... a small knife for scraping heavy deposits and the rings (which are all full of hooker juice BTW) if doing custom inlays and milling those, I think I would go with the US man. Try a couple, You will see what I mean!

OK, yep - these are destined to be milled, so maybe I'll try an ultrasonic for these ones.

Yes, do this! A limit set with slight variation on the 1s and 20s from the other cash set would be cool. Love the design with the bone duplicating one of the spot colors, and that mold looks great :)
