@The Nuts and I did some Paris harvesting a couple of years ago. We both had them in chip boxes in our carry-ons. I had about ~550 and he had maybe 3-400. My luggage went through the x-ray machine no problem, but they made him unpack the chips, unload them from the boxes, and send them through the machine spread out dumped in the TSA bins.
Wooooooowwwwwwww best to just go to usps and ship froM Vegas in that case

TSA in a nutshell, right there, and I’ll just leave it at that LOL.

Question. I’ve been reading of the difficulties some people have had with international customs thinking chips are live, money laundering, yada yada. But what if the chips are actually live but low denom like these Paris?

Excuse me sir excuse me sir but you need to cash that at the casino cage, why are you taking that with you lol I can just see tsa searching your bags lol
I tell them every time that I’ve got chips, never had an issue. Told the lady “there’s 1200 chips in my bag” she opened it, looked through the top 4 warneke boxes and the loose ones in the mesh pocked, laughed and zipped it back up.

TSA searched my bags when I took Cactus Pete's to Dallas, and both times they knew they were poker chips but needed to visually see them. Blew my mind it was that common of an issue.

Am I doing this right? Fist set of KEM’s (10 years of Copag).

certain things always look the same way. I fly with scuba equipment a lot. I gotta open it and show it to them all the time but they look over the screener thing at me 'that scuba gear? gotta see it... okay, you can go' every time.

Hell, I saw a lady going through security in seattle with a long wrapped up package a few years back and a TSA agent from across the security checkpoint shouts 'hey, that a long glass model of the space needle?' and then knew how to open it and wrap it back up so it didn't get broken.

Yeah it was mind blowing. I’ve spent 3-4hours/rack for
$1s in the past summers. Being able to walk up to the cage and ask for racks of near mint $1s and these new sparkly $2s felt illegal. Like unloading a backpack onto the hotel table seriously felt like drug running  :ROFLMAO:
This is very good to know!

Received the rest of my Isle chips today. Ahead of Jim’s sale, I bought myself these, as a consolation prize, since I knew I’d not score. I am happy with these for sure.

Thanks to @horseshoez for huge shipping assist.

They are all minty feeling. Sharp and chalky.

All racked up now…with the others I previously bought…and the IOC fracs will get overlabeled as Isle quarters.

Sometimes, after all is said and done, and another happy chipper has some 3D printed goodness, a little gift of their appreciation arrives in the mail unexpectedly...

Thank you @VMR911 ... I actually liked your design so much I made a holder for myself. Now I have a cut card to go with it!

And not all gifts necessarily have to be poker related. @Ocharacato sent me some absolutely fantastic Yeti mugs. When filled with the delicious narcotic known as caffeine, these mugs will help me stay up late designing more 3D magic!
