And a small river

That's the house about 3/8 of a mile up through the woods there... and still on our property!

Is that almost cool status? Lol

I want to love the tie dye. You don’t see it attempted too often. To me, it’s just hard to look at.
It's because my pictures are not good
Better pictures = moar to luv
Besides, it's the thought that counts right? The chip was made with tender love and thoughtfulness from an internet troll   those things dont even go together but somehow they work

She's lucky I didn't wrap it in zip ties or something.

Got some goodies yesterday!  Some leaded TRK goodness and the $100s for my hot stamp set, super hyped about these. Then, some $1s from the same place too. Had a day off yesterday so I decided to go check out an antique mall and see if I could find anything. Walked in there telling myself that I wouldn't buy anything, but that wasn't the case. I walked out of there with some stuff.... The main thing being this Sneak Joint $1! It's been on my want list for quite some time. If I understand it correctly it was a relatively small casino here in Vegas. It was open in the 70s into 1980.

100% serious. While we were playing, using paulsons, I slid that stack on the left (weighted colors) across the table toward my daughter and said "if you were designing your own poker chips, which colors would you use?" And she just glanced at them and said "None of THOSE horrible colors!"
Ha!
(I'm not shitting on CPC or saying anything new. I do hope to send them a lot of money for some of those horrible colors, sometime soon. But damn, is it THAT hard to make a decent yellow?)

Obviously always depends on the other colors in the set, edgespots, theme, etc. but I love how canary looks in mine.

I might be avoiding yellow altogether on this set.

Also not sure why DG ARC yellow is called a yellow when it’s orange. Looks amazing matched with DG yellow though.

DG yellow or even canary are fine for spots. But I wouldn't do a yellow base chip. Many have substituted Arc Yellow, DG Peach and DG Tiger where they might have gone yellow traditionally. The results are great.
Yup, this will be the route I'll take whenever I do another CPC set. Admittedly, I wasn't enough of a visionary myself to see the potential, but great sets like @Hornet's "Poker Lab" and @liftapint's "Boneyard" creations have shown me the light!

So you're telling me that's DG yellow in those spots and not DG saturn?
I would have guessed DG saturn.
And by the way, even though I'd used DG Saturn liberally with the custom chip tool, when I saw the sample in real life, I just said hmm

That's DG Yellow... DG Saturn looks much more plasticky.
