The Official Mail Showcase Thread (poker related) (61 Viewers)

I work for an ecommerce company that ships thousands of high value products every month. We NEVER ship via USPS because they are considered one of the worst shipping services, so much so that we all consider it to be somewhat of a scam.

For example, if you ship an item internationally, you can choose "Priority Mail Express International" which states that your package will be delivered within 3-5 business days. This is absolutely not a guarantee, and 100% of the time in our experience packages were never received when expected. All of our international shipments via USPS Priority Mail Express International have taken a minimum of 20 business days. It's a complete rip off.

To this date, we had submitted 893 claims for USPS, and only 1.0078387458007% (yes, 1%) were approved. I'd recommend for everyone to use either FedEx or UPS, as they've had much better results and claims approvals.

A minty rack of Club Pierre Charron B&G live 1€ chips to pair with my Cercle Concorde set

As much crap we usually sling at eBay sellers around here I just wanted to say I’ve never received cash in the mail before and especially to refund excess shipping.

Also I received the sample barrel of Bally’s $5s @casinochipper22 and I can now decide if I want 5 racks of mint... Merry Xmas?
Good point. That’s happened to me once or twice too. And it’s very much appreciated.

If and when there is enough room in a box to add some extra packing into a shipment I always wrap any type of chip box in the Post Office Tyvek bags. Those things are basically indestructible. I stick the chips into the bag, wrap it like a burrito tight and then seal it. After its in the box then I'll also add extra packing such as bubble wrap, those air packets and whatever else I can add to make sure that the chips don't move at all. My main thinking when I'm packing is to make sure the chips don't move, they are protected from all sides and they aren't loose. I've never had an issue yet and I hope I never do.
This is why I double wrap and double label everythig
Even $10 small 1st class envelopes. Always double wrapped.

Someone please take my credit card away...

... This can only lead to no good
You can send it to me. It will still lead to no good for you, but at least you won't have to answer any uncomfortable spouse questions when packages arrive at your door.
