Thanks @ThinkingFold ! And now my sample set collecting days are over.

Yeah, right! ;)

IIRC @BGinGA found them and then sold them to @softchewy

not quite.. at least not the ones I covet the most.
I originally bought some secondary $25s from BGinGA... and that is when I saw the $1 and $5 on the chipguide and wanted to build a set. (not knowing that was basically impossible). I eventually bought/traded for most of the other RVCLs ($100s and $500s) BGinGA had.
Including the most recent pickup of the awesome rack of secondary $100s (and I think maybe the last of RVCLs Dave had)
since this is a mail pr0n thread:

I found all the cash chips I have, all mint/unplayed - $.50, $1, $5, primary $25s and more secondary $25s.
The cash chips came from several different sources.
My first find - 3 racks of the $5s and several racks of the $25s (March 2017).
Believe it or not, they weren't from any of the leads I was chasing...these were from Spinettis.. sitting right under our noses.
They had them for years and could not remember where they got them from. They had 3 racks of $5s (bought them all obviously).
They were never listed on the site and probably never displayed in the store. I really only found out about them by chance (wasn't specifically asking about them) during conversations and different purchases with Mikko at Spinettis.

Uncovered some $.50s, $1s, $5s and $25s (around May 2017) from a guy in Ohio.
Then mid summer found some more $.50, $1s, $5s from another source in Kentucky (where the original auction was held for the RVCL stuff).
Also a single $100 primary and a single secondary $500 (which I didn't know existed and is the only one I have ever seen).

The wanted ad I posted in the beginning of 2017 was after I had been searching in vain for two years or so; but had found a single $5 and $25 on eBay and it gave me a sliver of hope. The ad has some of the timeline and chatter.
