Put them together and you've got the perfect complement to an everyone-gets-their-own-rack limit game!

Fun fact: I was toying with the idea of doing something like this, so I figured I'd see what kind of plaques might be available without having to spend an absolute fortune on a custom order. That very day I spotted @chipinla 's sale ad - he had $20 plaques (which are uncommon), from an actual casino (boat chips no less), and he had 35 of them - exactly what's needed for a seven-handed mixed game! It was kismet. Getting the cheap Chinese plaques in the right denomination and with a design I really liked was the icing on the cake.

Ya, I can’t recall who made the original order. I thought it was Jim back when the Empress chips became available. It wasn’t though. I had these since the original sale though.
Very interesting! Do you remember if they were MSK, ABC, or another vendor? These came out really nice.

I believe Sunfly but I could always be mistaken.

Yes, they are Sunfly.

Jim did produce them right around the same time as the original sale. It's gone now, but I found a thread on the old forum where he was asking for opinions on artwork and style. When asked, he said he may still have the artwork but doesn't know where it is. And that the casino still owns the graphics themselves, so it might be hard to get them made the same way again.

Still don't have a sense of how many are out there. I see the 1k's come up very rarely (and I have the biggest collection I've ever seen photos of), but the 5k's almost never show up. In the early days, someone split up a stack of 25 and sold them on eBay in lots of 2x or 5x. But beyond that, I saw one sale here from someone with about 10 5k's and other than that.... nada. White whales!

Could always have more made in a slightly different style, no? I could possibly be up for a rack of 5000s and a barrel of 25k's, haha :cool
