Hello...

Here's my Mixed Cash Game set:

Extreme mix, as no white $1 Paulson casino chip is duplicated (almost 800 in total). Plus, $5 Red Paulson casino chips (mixed as well) with additional $5 Paulson Fantasy Gambler's Pleasure chips to make an even 100 count, along with some (non mixed) $25 MSK plaques.

Enjoy...

Awesome! Do you use this for limit games?

Quite an accomplishment! Taking mixed to another level.

I considered 100 unique $1's for my mixed house mold set and switched plans after several frustrating weeks of little progress. The cost per chip is very high. How did you do it?! Are you considering any .25 or .50 chips? What about adding mixed $25's over time? $100's? You could even barter some of the $1's.

Also, do you have a favorite $1? Please post a pic.

Yes, I use these for my limit games (generally I set up a $3/$6 Limit game with a Full Kill or a $2-$5 Spread game with a Full Kill), but also for my No Limit games as well.

Thank you! It was an ever-evolving process. I'll try to (quickly) explain.. I originally started with Paulson Fantasy $1 chips for my home cash games. I then decided to start gathering real casino chips instead. I decided to gather only white $1 Paulson chips from Las Vegas casinos. I first gathered them in quantities of 25. After a while, I decided to gather more $1 white Paulsons from casinos throughout Nevada, Atlantic City, Missouri, Oregon, and California (the 3 states I've lived in). Then, after some more time, I decided I'd start collecting all white $1 Paulson casino chips from America casinos. This whole process has been more than 10 years in the making. Heaven help me if I decide start going for all North American chips, or worse, world-wide!

So through this whole process, I have extra chips that I'd like to trade for other $1 chips I'm still looking for (I'm on the hunt for some 40+ white $1s missing from my collection), or for my other endeavor - I'm doing a mini-version of this in building a mixed Paulson fantasy Tournament set. When I get enough posts, I'll start listing my wants/trades.

But yes, it's been quite an endeavor, and yes, it's not as simple as $1 for a $1 casino chip (other than the times I travelled to Vegas to gather some chips). So yeah, it's been an investment.

I really haven't considered .25 or .50 chips, nor am I really interested in $25's or $100's - I'm pretty happy with my mixed $1's and $5's along with my $25 plaques. I've got enough chips "bank-wise" at this time. If I need more, I think I'd get more $25 plaques or add $100 plaques...

You ask if I have a favorite? I'd have to say the Las Vegas Stardust chip in the upper left. But I've got a few others. In looking them over, I'd have to say these are my top $1 white Paulson chips (front and back):

Hope this helps... Thanx!

I'll repeat, quite an accomplishment - I knew there had to be a story behind it. Really nice work. I do like the Stardust and that Bella Union certainly catches the eye!

I see two that overlap with my favorite top two, the Sands and the Hilton A.C. rainbow, such fine chips. Sharing my dozen favorites in a picture - note that they are all house mold and two are modern - the Luxor and Silverton are really nice chips.

Finally managed to finish my first custom sets. Have two in total but experienced a black out while taking photos so one will have to wait.

Excited to finally be able to contribute to this thread.

First up is for a small stakes, small table cash set. Want to get custom labels, but still doing research on that front. If any designers are available, let me know!

My Vegas mix set. Welcome to Reno, with some chips from Ely and Sparks. Gonna switch out the horseshoe club Reno and eddies fab 50 every now and then. Very satisfying to put this set together. Can’t wait to put this to the felt, maybe next year.

Decided to swap the frac out. Downsized the number of Kings 1's since my game only needs a single rack, but I will likely beefen the set with another rack of PCA fivers.

Gorgeous. I have to ask what stakes you're playing that only require a single rack of ones? With the fracs there, I assume you're playing .25/.50 NLHE, but unless you're only playing 4-5 handed, I'm surprised to hear it runs smoothly with a single rack of $1's

Yup we play .25/50 or .50/$1 as some of my sets have a 50 cent chip. TBH not even all of the ones are in play. Usually between 80 or 90 of them are. My game runs on the big side so pre flop you might see some dollar chips get tossed around but post flop you'll mostly see people using their $5 chips only. We typically play 8 handed and on occassion 9 handed pre covid. Never had an issue once. Post covid we play 6 handed. Every now and then players exchange a couple 5s for some ones if one player has like two barrels worth, but aside from that game runs great.

When I buy people in for $100 max I give 12/12/17. Frac/$1/$5 respectively. I can give this to 8 players.
