Eh. My favorite was people here telling me to join various chip groups on Facebook and such.

First one I join, of course ran by thundersnow - pushing their stuff with her photo on every post along side @greenchip who you’ll find posting his flips.

But hey power to them. If you can make a living off chipping, do your thing. I’d blow my fu**ing head off if I had to resell anything as work, especially a hobby. I might as well become a realtor and car salesman at that point to and become the trifecta of hated “careers”.

slippery slope. You can’t ask that question.

There’s several lifelong PCF members who almost every post is them selling tons of singles or samples. It’s all they do, but no vendor requirement despite them seemingly meeting the definition, both in spirit and letter of the law.

No one (including me) cares because they’re well liked.
 
I don’t feel that it is fair to allow members to sell singles all day long, but calling out others (me) to upgrade status to sell a few decks of cards. Honestly I didn’t even sell that many, most of my sales came from eBay.
Selling singles is a lot more profitable too, if you ask me. A certain user purchased a rack from me for roughly $300 and sells the singles for $15+ lol

Well if my baseline mood is wanting to blow my effing head off, then I picked a good side hustle. Lol. I will say that business has slowed down to basically nothing over the past six + months and I'm perfectly fine with it. Harvesting is stressful. More fun to go to Vegas and be a degen.

Your side hustle is harvesting in addition to chipping.

HUGE difference. I’ve utilized yourself, Marc, and others to great effect. That’s making money in exchange for a service.

I’m talking about people who engage in a hobby with like hobbyists and whose actions are primarily or always focused on making $. Has to be exhausting to haggle every transaction, look for the thin margins, etc.
