The Wasp's Nest...Tourney (CPC - CSQ) (1 Viewer)

I want to begin this post by clarifying something important. I never host tourneys. Now I've got that out the way, let's begin...

I turn 40 this year, I have hired a house on the middle of an island in a watersports lake. There will be 18 of us, all poker players, one or two familiar faces from PCF as well. I already have my cash set but thought, for one weekend only, it would be cool to have a few tourneys. I could have borrowed a set from one of the chippers, but, well, you know...

Years and years ago I played a side event at the WSOP, since then, the chips I used that day have always been a personal favourite, most players who see them instantly recognise them. I always thought that the hundos and 500s were a bit close though, plus the spots on the 1k are very similar to the 500, so I set about putting my own spin on them, a bit like I did the Riverboats for my cash set...

What kind of maniac stacks them in this order...

I had been messing around in the chip designer for a while and decided that it was time to commit. So I tapped up @mattross1313 once again and asked him to do the inlays for me. I loved the work he did for my RHCs, so we used that as a starting point. I managed to get these submitted to David just before Christmas to catch the CSQ run and received them in a very pleasing 3 months...

Lineup is as follows
25 - DG Green, Retro Green, DG Arc Yellow
100 - DG Pink, Maroon, DG Green (special thanks to @OfficerLovejoy for this one, I really wasn't convinced maroon was the way to go)
500 - DG Peacock, Black, DG Tiger
1k - DG Arc Yellow, Blurple, DG Pink
5k - DG Tiger, Bright White, DG Peacock

Now, onto the pics...

Loved these - big fan of the vibrant colours. Shame I couldn't build a big stack with them on the day
