That is true. I don't entirely get it. Maybe that explains why I feel the hoop-la surrounding the unveiling of these NAGB chips is overdone.

But to be honest, pretending chips are mere utility to you wasn’t necessary to further that respect. You already had that. You appear to be a solid winning player. Which is admirable here, of course.

It is because they are awesome chips. I would be envious also if I could not get them. I like the other NAGB chips but these primaries are chefs kiss
That is an assumption that doesn't hold water. I freely concede that $6+ a chip is on the upper end of what I can afford, however there are other chips that I find more appealing. And then the question is do I really want to spend four to six grand on a chip set?
Not at this moment and time.
That is cool too. I only got some because I had enough chip equity to be able to do it. I would not personally spend that much “real money” but apparently many others here can. Hell, I am too tapped out right now to even go for a sample set in order to have some spares. Don’t hate though, you know you love you some chippies
