I'm planning on buying these knights casino chips. It'll be my first set. I mostly play online but have a home game occasionally so these won't see much action. Upgrading from dice chips on a budget. Pros/cons?

I HIGHLY doubt anyone is going to recommend buying them. They are basically at the same level as dice chips = slick plastic disc's with a metal slug inside. Have you done much looking around and reading on the site yet?

I can get them locally in my city and the price is 0.24 CAD, that's the only reason. I just wanted something that has denomination on it. I don't know if thats good or no

This site is mostly consisting of poker chip fanatic and collectors so no one is going to recommend the Knights.

Both are equally bad in quality, but still if I have to pick out of the 2, I will pick Knight chips.

Their only con over using Dice Chips is having denomiation.

I have some of these and used them before I found this god forsaken place, my friends liked them. Ever since the first Justin group buy I got chips in tho, there’s been no looking back. The slightly higher price and a bit of patience for delivery gives you literally endless possibilities and customizations…hard to look back with that kinda deal on the table.

In my experience, the poker knights are the worst of the slugged plastics. Hard, slippery plastic, rough edges, and drab colors. If you’re set on that price range, there are better options.

13.5g is heavy.

Are you in Scarborough? You can visit straight poker supplies to get a feel of the chips they have in stock.

For what its worth you can get better looking China Clay chips if you have a reshipper or can cross the border. If I had a chance to re-do my purchases it wouldve been to buy in one of the Group Buys rather than buy anything available at a Canadian store.

Buy what you like not what is available.
