Thread of Proofs // Add your custom chip proofs here (6 Viewers)

I play in a weekly league at a nearby VFW post. (No, I'm not a veteran, but they were kind enough to invite me to join them.)

They've been using really beat up dice chips for years and wanted to upgrade so I talked to them about the CM (Tina) chips. They wanted something simple and with no text and ultimately decided on these:

The colors/denoms match that of what they assigned to their dice chips. We elected to keep it the same so as not to confuse people.

@timinater did the design work. Thx Tim.

Not really custom…I’m a couple knit picking color choices away from submitting my order for my Mockport set.

I’ll never have a playable set of the real deal, so I’m building this to satisfy my intense craving for these chips. Some of the colors are spot on. The $1 (my favorite chip of all time) is the most difficult and is my only remaining quandary….DG peacock or lavender?

They’re cool! (both chips and inlay design) but maybe the inlay is a bit busy now? Sometimes less is more
I have the same feeling… nice idea and design but inlay has no space available… too many informations… not easy to focus and will be difficult to read correctly especially with a small 7/8 inch inlay imho

but I don’t get it … that’s the same base design… who made it ? And for who  ?
No idea I found the image of the inlay while searching club Obiwan…it is a pin someone had.

Any help on getting denominations on these? My first attempt at customizing…View attachment 1159053
Design help belongs in it's own thread. This thread is for completed proofs.

Design threads are better because it is easier to see the actual progression, and you can complete the thread with photos of the completed chips.

Just passing by, but with unscrupulous vendors stealing designs and knocking them off onto ceramics, is this thread a good idea? Seems like a really nice menu for the bad guys.

Going down that road, you can forget about posting photos of your actual manufactured chips as well...

The artwork in these proof previews usually has a way too low resolution and often is watermarked, so they'd have to manually redraw it if they wanted to use it.

Just put in my order…been thinking about this for a long time. I know these are a 0/10 on the originality scale, but this will satisfy my Gulfport jones…it’s taken me a year and $200 to accumulate nine rough $1s (so a real set ain’t happening).

Can’t thank @JeepologyOffroad enough for helping put the finishing touches on my color choices.

The set will be on jockey mold.

I’ll have 20 sample sets if anyone is interested….I’ll probably start a thread once I can get my shit together.

I am working on a set for Marvel Characters and need an Inlay Design created at some point...Thinking of calling it The Infinity Casino or something like Avengers Casino...what do you guys think?
