TRK hotstamps? (1 Viewer)

Hey all,
I've been away from serious collecting for quite a while. I remember that BCC was on their last legs, seems like they're gone for good now. Does anyone know what happened to the TRK hotstamps? The ones that had the dollar sign on both sides. I always regretted that I never bought a set of those.

Are you talking about the actual dies? I am pretty sure GPI got those in the acquisition of BCC.

I'm sure a combination of our resident designers and 3rd party hot-stampers could (or maybe already have??) come up with some suitable stand-in/tribute/replica stamp designs. I always liked these denoms. A lot.

Wow I had no idea that GPI was the buyer. That's how out of touch I am. But yeah, I was referring to the dies. I remember that BCC used to offer them as a hotstamp option.

Unfortunately, when GPI bought BCC, they bought all the assets, including the dies. Worst part is that there were some dies and molds that were owned by third parties, but which disappeared into the yawning maw of GPI.
