Anything affordable out there? I have a Paulson set, two customs, BCC Fun nites, and a used chipco set. I feel the need to add a TRK set.

It could be the bourbon talking. I've had a few tonight. I really want to build a mixed TRK set. Post/pm/ text me if you have something available. I'm not in a hurry. Im not looking to spend a silly amount (cuz I don't have it).

Im looking for ones, fives, and twenty fives.

Can't wait to see what you end up building. I've been contemplating the same. Just picked up my first two barrels of TRKs. Now of course I need more. ;)

Pick Hobson $5s are pretty tough to beat at $3 per chip from Spinettis.

Alternatively, you could also pick them up here from Heavyball for $3.75 per chip if you prefer.

Nevada Lodge $1s are only $2 ea (cleaning required) from Spinettis, also tough to beat. From there, you'll have a few options for $25s but expect to pay more for those. Good luck!
 
I have some various TRKs, would be willing to give a good deal to a fellow Michigander!
I'll see just what I have, quantities, etc. and PM you when I get a chance.

Would you be interested in a Jesse Beck Riverside set? The $1s and $5s are in more used condition with rounded edges. They're not your minty, chalky, sharp edge TRK chips, but are probably 1/3 the price.

Not without milling. That's one thing with TRK (the small crown mold) - the surface is completely flat (assuming chips aren't warped), there is no inset inlay in the middle. I experimented with putting some blank paper labels on about 10 TRK chips once to test -- and they all became spinners.

A TRK cash set is the only glaring hole in my collection as well. Though I did own a very small one for a while, it was a hot stamped solid set that only had a bank of about $800. So it ended in eBay. If it had been a spotted inlayed set I'd still own it.

Thanks. Then I'm definitely not interested in the jesse beck chips
 
Remember back in the day I had like 1000 mint solid TRK solids all stamped JW3. I had plenty of white, red, green and blue. You played with them several times. They were nice, but without denoms I preferred my used double down Paulson chips. Moral of the story to me is don't settle for low quality TRK chips, they will sit on the shelf in favor of better sets. That is why mine had to go.

Not sure, but these were. I was in your spot last year and picked up some TRK hot stamps. Milling and re-label by @Gear ,

Yep. I remember.

I'm looking at Nevada lodge for the ones and fives. However, I'm not in a hurry. I'm going to shop around for a bit. See what comes available

The pick Hobson are some nice chips. I don't think i have the budget for s playable set yet. I like the Nevada club ones. They might be to worn for me.

I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not in a hurry.

I've been browsing the forum, google, and @Spinettis Gaming and I've found a few that have caught my eye. There is a Nevada Club 5 orange chip I think. I couldn't find an image of it. I can't save it from Mikko's site. I really like the China club chips. Looks like there is a few different versions. The one I posted could potentially be in my price range.
