Wait... this is a thing?
Hahahaha…. Before everyone drives David crazy… I was a) well under the quantity/combo ratio thanks to a ~900 2-chip limit set, and b) I actually asked David in advance.

Against the crazy spot combos folks have done, I think 40ish no-inlay chips were a cakewalk. Because DIASQR has a higher reject rate, I told him I’d be flexible on my quantities as well.

The limit set (canary/light blue workhorse, light green/DG peach value).

Really happy with this set and my take on the El Cortez $1.

Test chips:
Imperial blue w/ DG green & butterscotch
Imperial blue w/ DG green & dark green
Retro red w/ DG pink
Retro lavender w/ maroon
Gray w/ DG Saturn, DG yellow, canary

Sadly, the gray chip doesn’t pass for me, glad I tested that as a potential replacement for my mixed inlay set. The DG Saturn does indeed have that plastic color and the canary looks odd in a moon, but the DG yellow looks great, but blows out the other colors. Total bummer, I was really hoping it would work.

is there a particular quantity/combo ratio orders must meet? What are minimum order sizes for CPC? Just out of curiosity, anyone know what they consider a large order from private folks like us?

How many do I have to order?
Because all real clay chips are made by a very labor intensive process we require a minimum of 300 chips. Within a 300 chip set you can have up to 3 unique chips. In a 400 chip set up to 4, and in a 500 up to 5 etc. Orders for 39mm and 44mm chips cannot be combined. Minimum order size for add-ons and re-orders will be evaluated on a case by case basis and lowered if possible.

There’s also this note on the FAQ page. David was kind enough not to apply it to me.

Note that orders with more than one qty of 50 or below may attract a wastage premium. This will be determined by evaluating the entire order content.

assuming that message from November 2022 is still valid, how long should one wait for A-mold order now?
My last A mold buy took about 4-5 months. It was a bit ago, it just depends on how many orders are ahead of it.

Doesn’t seem like A mold is constant anymore? With CSQ and diasq running at the same time

I think the CSQ run has ended and has been replaced by HHR….but not 100% positive…only David knows for sure
