Vegas trip report - In search of a (WSOP) ring [19/03/25 - 31/03/25) (1 Viewer)

When this is all over, have a beer (or other beverage of your choice) on me. Just deduct it from my share, and when you post a pic of said beverage, I'll feel like I'm sharing a toast with you.

I'm guessing (without clicking either link) that one is Day1A + Day1B and the other is just Day1B.
It's the same 10 players with the same 10 chip counts.

The second link has 21 players on it. Although they are "ranked" there is no rhyme nor reason to the order in which they are ranked. The first link shows the top 10 ranked players, and is a direct swipe from the other list with their apparently random "rankings".

Thomas was the 4th highest chip-stack in his flight, and between 1A and 1B ranks 9th out of 42. When play resumes, he will be sitting with a very playable 33 bigs. The overall chip leader has 69 big blinds. If I'm reading the sheets right, He is currently the #2 stack at his table for day 2, though day 3 has yet to play out and there are 3 seats at his table still open.

Good morning PCF

Thanks again for all the support (+6K views :love:)
Also got plenty of messages for backing so we are on for the Mystery bounty :cool

Only played a short cash game session, but long enough to get coolered in a crazy hand.

I flop the nut straight , player before me goes AI for 80% of my stack, I rejam and player behind calls my shove. ???

First player shows JJ and made a set, player behind has the lower straight. Board was rainbow but JJ hits quads on river.

First buyin in the mud and called it a day to get well rested for today.

I thought the Mystery bounty started at 11h but that was day 2 of the double stack. Cards fly at 15h so plenty of time to relax.

Weather is awsome, going to enjoy it a bit…
Keep you all posted.

Saturn Yellow haters have no idea what a $250,000 car should look like.

Since this not only a poker rail thread but also a trip report…another update.

Hoover dam was great and impressive to witness with my own eyes.

Great trip…now chilling at the house and making dinner plans for later tonight.

I can not thank my hosts and Vegas family enough…always prepared to care of everything going from staying at the casita, food, laundry, rides, comped rooms, shopping, pickup’s from airport, … you name it.

They are ALWAYS there for me. Thanks sooo much Dan & Shari.

This says it all…

More updates tomorrow or later today when I have more info regarding flight C

It has been a great ride already, let’s hope we can have one more sweat and bink another one before I leave back to Belgium.

Thanks to all backers, followers, posters…can’t express how cool and motivating it is to have an awsome rail like this.

Have a great day /evening my (PCF) fiends.

Love how frequently you are updated. All of PCF is a part of this now, haha
7k views for a vegas trip report…I’m amazed and honoured. The time it took to get 5 backers (and more), very cool since I was expecting nothing.

With study also came BRM, I’m just not rolled (yet) to play the 1-3k tournies. And even tho I’m having a great run, I’m not up much since the money is in the FT spots. And I was not able to play cash ( brings in more easy money than tourney)

If occasion arrises in the future, I will turn to PCF first (and never with a mark up). It’s more of a PCF sweat thing. And I really play better with a rail.

That said, one or two coolers and the run could be over in a flash.

That’s part of it too…

I’m playing different now and willing to take the ‘risk’ when needed. Hence the two AI’s in the first 2 hands in day 2 mini-main.

And not bagging for day 2 in the second to last hand. I already made the day 2 pay jump and was short… playing to win.

On our way to dinner…

That’s great and all but what did the chips looks like at Hoover casino? Any fracks? I’d bet the Hoover inlay would be fun to design.

Lol

Last update of the day…

After a great trip to Hoover dam, we relaxed a bit and took it easy.

For dinner, Dan took us to the beautiful Red Rock resort to go eat at a personal favourite, Lucille’s smokehouse and BBQ.

After the biscuits, I opted for the pulled pork and brisket with mac&cheese and fresh vegetables as sides. So tasty stuff…

Tomorrow the cards fly at 13h but going to bed on time. Just some rehashing of charts and some YT tourney FT’s before a good night rest. It could be a long day tomorrow…

Good morning PCF

Just had a look at the results of flight C

66 players made day 2 (combined 3 flights), we have a top 15 stack (biggest stack is 830k so everything is still close).

we got lucky with the table draw, 2e chipstack

Seat 1: 246K
Seat 2: 101K
Seat 3: 92K
Seat 4: 141K
Seat 5: 326K
Seat 6: 257K
Seat 7: 401K (me)
Seat 8: 411K
Seat 9: 109K

Source

Position on the 411K could have been better but not complaining over all (only table 7 or 8 would have been better).
Bounties are in play from the start of day 2.

Price pool not known yet but will update once im at the Horseshoe….at least one 25k bounty.
I’ll check the online record of the other players at my table but first some breakfast ;)
