I saw that there was snow in Madrid on Friday and it was -36C. Crazy!
Pretty much.
I'm from a cold climate originally, no one knows how to drive in snow/ice here.
But it looks like everyone has a pickup truck or sports utility vehicle
Meanwhile, a shocking mini summer in Athens and southern Greece.

I’m from the cold also just cracks me up when the southern states get a coating and nothing is open.
One of the first things I learned when I lived in CO was if you se Texas plates. Give them a WIDE berth. Didn’t realize how true that was until I was behind a couple. Scary

We were -11C yesterday and +9C today. That’s a 20C increase in one day. Mental.

When I lived in Dallas my office had snow days too. If school was closed, so was the office because nobody could get there. I remember one time we got 1-2" of snow and I-20 shut down because some trucks couldn't get up a hill. It caused massive gridlock, and people just abandoned their cards on the interstate like a zombie movie. It was closed about 24 hours.
