He’s up there somewhere.

This album has become a favorite of mine, and the backstory plays a pretty big part of it.

I swear earlier today I was thinking about some of my favorite singers and how glad I am that Mark Lanegan is still with us, not sure why my mind went there… And now that is no longer the case. RIP Mark, godspeed.

Indeed. He's the guitar player that that all the other guitar players of his era admired. Such an interesting talent, incredibly gifted and a kind soul. Eventually his demons got the best of him, really sad.
