What are you listening to? (13 Viewers)

Tom Petty, remembering his final tour, saw him twice that year. The last show was with my girlfriend in Cincinnati, 3 months later he was gone. Girlfriend passed a couple of years ago. Sometimes it's nice to just sit and let music take you to another place and time.

@Saoliver got me on this kick today:

Always loved the music in this tune, have great feelings when I hear it, and/or, think about The Dream Academy version used in the museum scene in Ferris Beuller's Day Off.

Lemme see if I can recreate my path today:
Got cleaned out by those PCF sharks on pokernow.club (haha), took a short break from the computer, thought about going for a swim, didn't, came back to the computer, was looking up techno crazy train on youtube, saw eurobeat crazy train, went to everyday practice techniques for the intermediate (guitar) player by lessonface, then 5 great exercises for your practice routine by Paul Davids, then beautiful arpeggios for guitar by Paul Davids, heard him play a part of the duel from Crossroads in that video so I changed search to Paul Davids Crossroads and saw Trying To Learn the MOST DIFFICULT piece I know by Paul Davids, then I saw FULL - Crossroads Guitar Duel - Steve Vai, Ry Cooder by Jose Villareal, then I wanted to see who else had done a video like Jose and typed in "crossroads guitar" into youtube search, and that's how I finally found this:

(if you haven't seen the movie or the duel scene - please watch the second video first...)

This Is What The Crossroads Guitar Duel ACTUALLY Sounded Like (Steve Vai & Ralph Macchio) - Bradley Hall

:D :D :D

(in case you haven't seen the movie or the duel, this is what it was
)

We're simple old folks -- the Eagles station on Pandora does it fine for us most evenings on the lanai finishing off supper's wine...
