Cash Game What do you think of this chip breakdown for 25c/50c up to deep stacked 1/3? (2 Viewers)

25c- 200
$1- 200
$5- 400
$25- 160
$100- 40

I want extra fracs because of limpers in the game and so 10 people can get a barrel of fracs each. I know is probably a bit excess but I want to be able to handle game growth/multiple tables. Thoughts?
Multiple tables would be the only reason to get 200 quarters imo. And this is a pretty credible breakdown for that.

Though worth noting 25c-50c to 1-3 is a very wide range. About half this set would sit in a 25c-50c game. All but the quarters would play thoughin a 1-3 game.

I like the original breakdown fine, but for the sake of completeness, to suggest a couple alternatives...

Alternative 1

Up the singles to gear toward lower stakes. 200/400/300/80/20 breakdown would make more of your set useable in the lower stakes in your range. Add fives later if your stakes really progress.

Alternative 2

Consider doing a 50c frac instead of a 25c frac and start the blinds at 50c-50c. 100 of these would cover two tables for sure. That breakdown would be more like 100/400/400/80/20 or 100/300/400/160/40 if you want to skew higher.

The only possible downside is there is no downward option to 25c-25c as there would be with quarters.

Hope this helps.

I play fairly deep stack 1/1 and this is what I get out for a 9 handed game:

100 x 1 = $100
400 x 5 = $2,000
50 x 20 = $1,000
50 x 100 = $5,000
10 x 500 = $5,000

It's $200 max with $400 max rebuys.

First 5 players get:
20 x 1
36 x 5

Then players are bought in entirely with 5's until they run out, then entirely with 20's until they run out, and then 100s.

If someone is a monster stack I will give them a 500 plaque (they always want it) and take back workhorse/value chips to make change. You will never need a substantial amount of your blind chips.

Most I have had on the table is around $9,000

I used to get a lot more chips out but I find it unnecessary. Players/dealer perfectly capable of making change with each other in most circumstances. I have another 150 x 20 and 150 x 100 in reserve worst case.

I think your breakdown is great.

I went with 200 fracs in my set for the same reason. If I have a more than one table then each table gets 100. If all at one table everyone gets a barrel.
