What mold is this? Are they even paulsons? (1 Viewer)

Paulson THC mold with grand inlay. Proceed with caution.

They don't look like any RHC chips I have ever seen. ;)
I agree. Take a closer look:

Started out as a craigslist sale foe 14,000 chips. There is a thread about how it got started on the blue wall.....

These were just relisted and they have me scratching my head, but I've finally put my finger on it.
It's actually a giant inlay, isn't it? But the graphics, bizarrely, only use a standard inlay's portion of the center of the inlay. The outer portion of the inlay is a solid red, the same color as the chip. All it does is cover the spots.
It's a very strange chip, isn't it? I personally don't like giant inlays, but I can appreciate that they allow a lot more space for art. This inlay doesn't do that, though. It covers the best part of the chip (the spots) with nothing at all.

And, don't we usually see the giant inlay only on RHC molds? I can't remember seeing a giant inlay on a TH&C mold, and I think that's another reason why this chip throws me off.
Are there other examples?

Pretty messed up combo. Not sure which I find more perplexing...these or the Crystal Park secondaries with the full surface overlay..just weird.

The area outside the normal inlay area has Casino Miami written and I actually think it looks kinda cool like that...

Opinions vary. I guess it's tough to tell from pictures with lousy lighting, but the casino name written on the outer edge seems pretty subtle, and still a waste of that space, in my opinion.
And obviously now I'm getting judgy, but it seems like this was their way around paying for a house mold?
Anyway, I really like the pelican graphic. Too bad I can't get on board with the rest of the chip.

How long has this guy been selling this "last rack" for? I remember seeing these "last rack" chips being sold a while back. Year or more maybe. Seems odd,

I like these also. That pimpin' ass bird on there. A mint set of these would be bonkers. Some Tony Montana sh*t.
