Someone said its called Divorce and the Logical answer would be 99 but looking online results for those names don't look the same as what we played last friday at my home game. Another person mentioned a game called Penny ante but not sure what that was may have been the dice game we played before that.

The way we played the game-

$1 ante with 3x $1 chips to play with.
Deal 3 cards to each player
Play starts with first to act laying a card and reading the number on that card.
face cards =10
4 = reverse play direction
9 = hold or stop
10 = negative 10
rest of numbers are the number.

As you play a card you must pick up a replacement card before next person plays a card. If you forget or are too slow you play with one card less.

Play continues to left of first to act by adding the next card played to previous count.

The goal is to not be the player that goes over 99.

The first player to bust 99 by playing a card that goes over or having no cards to play at their turn loses $1 to pot.

Shuffle cards and re-deal until
last player with any of the $3 starting $1 chips wins the pot.

We also played a dice game where you deal the whole deck out.
Anyone who receives 7s or Kings discards them.
All cards face up by rank in front of yourself.
25c ante
First to act rolls two dice and discards matching card of the dice total.
If they don't have the card matching the roll, the player to left may discard if they do.
Play continues until you roll a non matching count then pass dice to left.

Once a player is down to one card they must roll their own card and may not be discarded by person to Right missing that match.

If a player rolls a 7 they pay pot 25c
Play continues until first person out of cards wins the pot.

99 or Bust

Other game sounds like some variations of a game called Polish Poker?
I guess I didn't look hard enough at search results. The first link is exactly how we played. The few I clicked on were different versions but also called 99.

We play one we call polish poker too.
3 chips but single card to each player.
Player trades card with player to their left if you think you have lowest card at the table. Ace is low.
Variants of queen or king stop the ability to trade.
Dealer has ability to cut deck if wanted for their card. Lowest card that hand loses a chip to pay. Ties both lose a chip.
Deal shifts to left and repeat till one person left with chip(s) and they win the pot.
