Is everyone here Amish? Are they worried their chips’ souls will be stolen in a picture? What’s the big deal with using someone pics from this site over there and vice-versa if not for false representation for financial gain?

Like, if someone grabs a pic from one of these sites and goes to eBay and says hey I’m selling 5 racks of these and it’s fraudulent, ok…..but just posting a pic and saying “hey these are nice what’s the story behind them”? Fucking relax….

No idea what that even is, but it made me hungry. I think I ate something like that in college once. Is it corned beef?
not corned beef, it is chipped beef (aka shit on a shingle when served creamed on toast/cracker)
to help..
if corned beef = filet mignon
than chipped beef = shoe leather

@bergs That’s how the issue started with me just telling Kaplan to calm down with his policing of innocent chippers looking for chips when he himself had stolen a multitude of images himself. Not being a single collector of unique chips you probably don’t worry about IP but I do.

In a collectors' hobby such as ours, there is considerable value in the knowledge of the old people who are still alive and active. Be careful what you wish for.
The Club and its forum and its website are old and moldy. It has no chance of appealing to or attracting any new younger member, especially anybody who majority uses a mobile phone. There are many members I’m sure who have forgotten more about chips than I’ll ever know. My main criticisms are not about them at all.

The Chip Board is shit on a shingle.. Fuck that place; they deserve whatever crap they end up with that results from their inept actions and inactions.

It's just a shame that the comparatively useful Chip Guide is controlled by the same trolls.

Worked for a year with a guy that cooked always cooked Sh!t on a Shingle for Sunday breakfast at the firehall.

I gotta say, once you get past the look, it's not bad. A little bit like biscuits and gravy, with beef instead of sausage. I don't ever want to eat it again (health value of zero), but if that's what is being served, I'm not complaining.

Dried beef with white gravy on toast. My grandfather was in the Navy and it was a comfort food. Like someone else mentioned, the servicemen affectionately referred to it as Shit on a Shingle. :p

Ohh and I made this myself, everyone is free to use my image however you see fit! Lmao

PS: well actually I stole the C64 image from the web so maybe I don't have rights to say you can use it... probably catch a lawsuit over a joke. So is life in 2022
