Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (22 Viewers)

Our dealer likes plastic Modiano cards, he likes the flex in them.
Just don't tell @BGinGA , he thinks Modiano is the physical embodiment of the devil in the poker world. Rightfully so, IMO, but I'll let him tell the story.

There’s a hate story about plastic Italian playing cards? This I gotta hear.

I must be the only person who can't use them. They bent faster then KEMs for me....
Very shocking to me. Myself and my players all thought the same as Mel. Not even close.

Granted we haven’t tried a ton of others. Previously we played with KEM, Copag, and da Vinci

A bad batch possibly? My players rave about them.
Guild’s would be my next choice, slightly heavier than Desjgn’s but a fantastic card non the less.
I'm sorry for the derail here @Windwalker , this is my fault! I believe Guilds are on Modiano stock. I don’t buy that Liberty Card Company has their own proprietary stock of cellulose acetate cards that utilizes the same fonts and has the same fat spades that Italian playing cards are notorious for.

I forget if @Dix has weighed in on this or not...

our dealer prefers modiano platinum set ups as well. New set up every game. with the discount each set up is only about $15. Not bad.

If your dealer is open to a suggestion, I’m a huge fan of Desjgn. It is my go to brand when I host.
+1 - I thought it was all hype, but myself and all my players quickly fell in love with them
My favorite too, not close.

 Never tried them, I've been loyal to the Modiano's myself but I'm always willing to check something out (if they suck I'll just throw them in the box with all the other crap cards I bought and didn't like) :ROFLMAO:

Found 'em on eBay, 4 color deck, never had one of those (I ordered some)

Back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I was moving a piece of art from one wall to another, and set it down for a second on a chair. I also happened to have my BTP cash set out, to split it into two playable sets.

Realized there was this funky artsy background that presented itself, so shot these pics.
