Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (18 Viewers)

+1 for this. I feel like this would be the pièce de résistance.

It's still much too early in the WW chipping journey to come up with this though. Everything after would just be anticlimactic.

I don't play in the rare air up there, so I don't actually know what the difficulty in finding impossible sets is. @Windwalker, how many hours a week would you say you are currently looking for chips/opening chips/sending chips/proning chips/etc.?

Can someone explain the mass appeal of the Pointe Afters? I think they’re a cool set but the end all be all?
I'm a newb, so I find things interesting for different reasons.

Right off the bat, it caught my attention when I saw the almost $20 a chip rack auction - https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/auction-pointe-after-25s-120.10748/

For me, it's one of the only sought after chips with standard colors where I'm not bored by at least one chip. Not that it's the best looking, but I'm a sucker for color matching and varied art (obviously it doesn't have the second). Also has that NW touch, which seems to have a strong following here. Regarding rarity/difficulty, I think it's a cool find for someone to come up with if @Saoliver and @navels haven't come up with it yet.

@RainmanTrail first got me interested in the Binion’s WSOP Paulson set, and I have spent the better half, maybe even three quarters of the last 3 months trying to track down as many of them as possible. It has been quite an adventure, with a fair bit of detective work, some mild social engineering, and a ton of dead ends. But I’m nearing the end of a quest to put together the largest known set ever, outside of the actual tournament.

Part of that quest was to find / create consistency in the quality and condition of the chips, which meant taking chips in various states of cleanliness and use, and cleaning / culling them. For this task, I solicited the help of a good friend, @JeepologyOffroad. I have probably PM’ed more with John than everyone else on PCF combined. :)

Not only did he help me clean and cull, but he also took some amazing photos of them. A big, comprehensive Pr0n post with all denoms coming soon, but here are a couple of teaser photos that John took that are absolutely breathtaking!

Sweet

I think he may have been multi tasking responses between PCF and the Winnebago owners forum, cut him a little slack @Hornet.
I’m showing up to SQM in a Winnebago.

I’ll go back to watching from the corner after this so Dad doesn’t yell at me for thread unraveling, but someone gets my location right? Right?

I’m not one to get upset with thread unraveling. Just do me one thing and wear your Captains of the Winnebago Club jacket and drivers cap to the event, I’d love to get a picture with you all dressed up. :ROFLMAO:
