How come there aren't any $20 or 25 chips, but rather $10, instead?
It’s how the Wynn plays 5/10, no idea. They sometimes have $25s, but they don’t usually have them on the table.
if its 5/10 where are the 5s?
You can see a few red chips here and there. Since the game plays so big, there are usually just a few reds around for the small blind.

+13k going to be a good night sleep
After a run up to a +19k profit, I ended the night up exactly as you predicted lol. Game got shorthanded to 3, and I got stuck in between two experienced poker pros, and they started chipping away at my profit. Called it a night. Not bad for a few hours of aggressive play. :)

Apart from the mold, nice chips - great for relabeling!

on a game like that, what do people usually buy in. i think for the 5/10 game in encore, the minimum buy in is $1500 but with the way people play thats not enough. congrats on the win.

nice to know, i always play the 2/5 at encore, but always wanted to try the 5/10. i feel the players are just too good and they will just out play me. maybe next time i will give it a try. :)

They are as tough as nails, and unrelenting in putting you in tough decision spots. The 2/5 game honestly feels like the kids table in comparison. I had to pay so much attention, I got a headache. Most of them are career grinders and this is how they make a living.

They weren’t very happy with me last night.

totally agree, sometime i would walk back there and watch them play, they bet like one grand after the flop, and even if you have top pair its hard to call. they do put you in tough situations all the time. i feel that as the games gets bigger, you just got to have the balls to call them down. most of the time, they dont have shit.
