Me too. But it tends to blow the load really quickly early on in the set making the use of IHC chips necessary for high denoms

I also take the extra step of aligning the top hat and cane deboss within the edge spots. That is a pain in places I didn’t know existed.

I think theres more than 1 way to do it, but I just use a clipping mask

It’s not a venture. Just me teaching myself how to think about chip color and spot progression. Won’t go anywhere past Photoshop. Maybe some custom ceramics.

That would be so awesome. All the colors I’ve seen with the design tool don’t seem too accurate though. This method looks so much more true.... but I’ll pitch in 5 bucks to the Bring Back the Design Tool fund

Turned my attention to an imaginary California set. Started with some inspiration from the Lakeshores $1, and then built from there. Thinking of Indian Blue or Blaze Orange for the $500.

Given the relative brightness of the other chips, I'd probably drop the green spot and go with the remaining two spot colors. Or use a much lighter or brighter green, like Pale/Sea or Day.

I just can't look at a black (or even charcoal) chip and ever think of it as anything other than a hundred.

You could put "$20" on it in inch-high day-glo orange and I'd just think it was a typo.
