Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (17 Viewers)

deshi, deshi, basara basara!! deshi, deshi, basara basara!! deshi, deshi, basara basara!!

‘what does that mean?’

‘Rise’

(queue ominous music)

Ok. Enough is enough.

I thought that stepping away from negativity for a bit might calm stuff down, because the conflict came a perceived misunderstanding of tone, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I think perhaps my act of conciliation has been mistaken for an act of weakness. That would be an error.

So, to clear things up:

- when the conflict is with a seasoned, respected chipper like @slisk250, I am more than happy to admit a misread of intent, and chalk things up to a lesson learned, and hope that we can move forward from there;

- When I get a PM from a seasoned, respected chipper like @Perthmike giving me advice that might calm things down on the thread, I am more than eager to listen and take that advice;

but when the loudest voice is a blowhard like @nomadland who seems to mistakenly think he has slain a beast and is dancing around in glee, boy -- you have another thing coming. Let's review.

He made quite the speech in his last post.

But then, he...

Ah, probably a typo or a mistake, @nomadland espouses respect and humility when people go onto HIS thread, and to not disrespect people on a whim.

But then, this is also @nomadland on one of HIS threads:

@slisk250, I will PM you separately -- my apologies if I read your comment out of context and got upset without cause. I am told you're a solid chipper by people I trust, and I will chalk up our argument to misread intent / context and some hotheadedness on my part.

But listen, bud (and I mean you, @nomadland.) I stepped away from the thread to let things cool off, and you act like you won some kind of match? You think you did something amazing? This is still the thread I started, dickhead. The thread about my journey, as I wanted to capture it. It's been made fun by a lot of amazing debates among the community about things related to chipping, chippers, and yes, by the photos I have painstakingly taken and posted, both for my own documentation purposes, and to share with the community. You joined in December, and from your classifieds posts today, its clear you haven't even taken the time to understand basic chipping parlance, and yet you think you can come derail the thread that I've built and nurtured along with people who were kind enough to give feedback, or come along for the ride, every day, for almost 5 months?

Fuck that. I'll take constructive criticism from people who have the right to give it. You're a troublemaker, and at this stage, you don't even have enough cred to be my bitch, much less someone who can prance around thinking you took down my journey thread.

@Tommy / Mods: This thread is supposed to be about great pr0n and epic set discoveries. Would you be able to remove some of these posts (including this one) and move them to a derail thread so the thread can get back to doing what it did? Much appreciated.

Since this thread is about Pr0n, here's preview of something epic coming next week...

Woo welcome back WW! Nicely said I might add

Took these out this week for a possible trade with @cgpilot, and realized I hadn’t posted a full set shot of the Outposts yet, since adding a few racks.

The Outpost Casino was one of San Ramon’s oldest businesses, run for 20 years by a Las Vegas card dealer who finally lost his gambling license in 2006, and then ran it as a sports bar and grill until it permanently closed in Feb 2017.

In its place now stands the 169-unit San Ramon Valley Apartment complex.

All denoms up to the $20 are 312s, and the $25s and hundos are 3d14s.

Nice family picture and cool backstory! The $25 are truly gorgeous (probably my favorite here actually) and the $100...so bright!

Why do you have a proclivity for Batman? Just a question. Sorry if answered previously.

I think they’re the worst.
I have a hard time with California colors.
Gorgeous set though. I think the Outposts were the first “grail” set to catch my eye, here at PCF.
I'm not crazy on CA colors like a lot are, but I like those two chips :)

I collect comic books. He’s the most tragic and nuanced of all of the DC characters, in my mind. And the entire noir-ish environment around him; from the gargoyle-filled Gotham to the very real and human villains that he fights. Plus, a lot of his strength comes from perceived weaknesses; his OCD, his PTSD, his anger issues, his abandonment issues; he’s the most real of all the superheroes, to me.

I love these colors and edge-spots. I’m always surprised they don’t get more love around here. The simplicity and hot colors really do it for me. Sometimes less is more.

I used to have some of the RHC version... same sweet color combo from the side, but when looking at the inlay, I would throw up a little in my mouth.

Quads over nut flush! Holy crap. What orientation is the dealer? Did the quads happen on the flop, or did he river the 10-outer?

View attachment 592468
I believe the dealer was non other than the infamous @FordPickup92. The quads were on the flop and unfortunately @Seeking Alpha Social Club turned his nut flush.
An incredible hand to see indeed and @Seeking Alpha Social Club almost folded the nut flush on the River thinking he was up against quads but reluctantly called.

Any news on the Capitol city's journey across the Atlantic?
Yep, it’s in customs. I need to get them some paperwork. Seller declared the entire sales value despite me telling him not to, and I’ve had an unlucky draw with a customs inspector who wonders if the chips are live and I’m possibly money-laundering. :ROFLMAO:

I have to fill out a couple of affidavits and get them some additional info. And probably pay duty. Bleh.
