Krish,
It's unfortunate that the order of these events led to this road and I wish you the best. In doing so, I would like to mention my response in here was only warranted because I was tagged in the post, otherwise I was leaving this all in the rear view mirror.
I never had a dog in the Bourbon $5 fight. I only chimed in because I had somehow became entangled in feeling bad for people who confided in me via PM's. They simply confided in me because I took everything they said in good spirits and was willing to hear them out, conversations mainly surrounding their sheer disappointment in possibly never seeing what they've sought after for so long. My involvement and my input in the matter may have been a mistake on my part but not one I regret. There's nothing to regret about sharing my opinion on the events leading up to what you've mentioned above. Regardless of what you think was the right way to convey their message, anybody that was seeking those chips had every right to be concerned about whether or not they'd ever see them.
I'm not going to dive into the depths of that topic because it can literally go on forever without people amicably resolving it. It happened, people felt crappy that they couldn't get the stuff they wanted, they expressed it, and that's that. The vitriol, pettiness, deception, skullduggery that you say PCF is full of, I honestly don't see it that way. The majority of this crowd are good people with good intentions. You have the occasional snake and backstabber that surface from time to time, but what community doesn't? Are we to all of a sudden abandon the idea that a place is an overall good place then take one big shit on it just because of a few speed bumps along the way and some people that make it unenjoyable from time to time? I don't think so. I would have thought you are more tactful than that and realized the intricacies of chipping in the ways you described them so many times but by writing a post like this, sorry if you get offended, but its just reckless. More often than not, there are several posts when your responses have been very stern, snarky, or unforgiving. One would be completely illogical to not expect people to react the way they have when spoken to as if they are inferiors. You’re smart enough and should know that Krish.
You've done some great things since your arrival, no doubt about it. I credit you with having the patience, know-how, and showing innovative ways of procuring rare chips. Even if you never created a thread documenting your journey, people on here would still attest to that. However as I mentioned above, there’s been plenty of times where the figurative mines that have gone off were placed there by none other than yourself. Times like when people are always pointed out to be wrong, lacking knowledge, cowards, or even bitches. None of us are perfect, chipping or outside of chipping but to relentlessly trample over people on here because they don’t agree or they’re upset with something isn’t right. There’s just no excuse for it regardless of where you think you stand. There’s not a chance you can deny that the provoking has also sometimes come from your end. It’s unjust to take the completely self-righteous stance and demand that most of everybody on here is in the wrong. Not only is it that but as you can see from the responses, it's insulting. They watched and applauded you throughout your journey with a very few even helping and guiding you along the way. Yet you insisted on compiling all the purported evidence, conveying a message that all of them here aren't good enough, that they're all bad, deceitful, and vile. That's just not the right way Krish, you know, I know it, and everybody here knows it. Most people here are modest and friendly people. That alone speaks volumes to the type of place that PCF is.
In the end, I wish you the best. Hope you enjoy your favorite pieces of what you've acquired with your family and friends. Ma3 il salameh.
