Wow, this opens up an entirely new realm of possibilities for me.

I knew about pillage and plunder, but figured that was like one of one because it was critical to making that chip work.

David told me they do not align shaped inlays with edge spots. More so it is a hit or miss.

Edit: here are the exact words “Also note that as inlays (like everything else) are applied by hand so there is no guarantee the alignment of the notches will be exactly against the small spots as the design shows.”

They do align them, what he’s saying in that quote is that it’s slightly imperfect because it’s handmade, but that they do try.
 
I had all my inlays perfectly aligned to my edge spots by CPC.
Again, they 've been round inlays.
 
A thought: Regarding denom colors, if the $25 matched the base (maybe also the 25c), and not the spot, then it appears like every other would match a base or a spot.
 
Very nice. Now get yourself a CPC color sample in hand which will blow it all up for you causing you to then spend a stupid amount of time obsessing over the smallest details.

That's an important step in the process that cannot be avoided :)

This... 1000%.

Amold always runs btw, everything else cycles on demand. CPC molds have really different finishes, feels, sounds, inlay sizes. Makes a huge impact.

Hahaha, I was just kidding. I’m debating between the B-mold and the jockey. I like the feel of the B mold, but I like the look of the jockey.

I was just going to suggest changing the green spot on the $100 from green to light green.. Much better.

Sounded fishy... :-p I've got a mold set of course, but Irish has like 10 or so of each so you can shuffle them and do whatever that he was nice enough to bring to a meet up. Makes all the difference feeling them in stacks.

B-Mold is cool if it makes sense. It's always seemed like unless you were doing something with "Beach" or "Bourbon" or "Barrel" to be a bit strange. Feel the same way about the amold if I'm being honest. I prefer the sound of the jockey but I can't 'see' it on the chip, it doesn't look like a jockey to me, so it's just some design. I like the DiaSqr a lot, but the mold issues concern me. CirSqr is also nice. For a craps set I really want to use the Dice mold, but they sound 'bad' and just look kinda cheap.
 
I haven't tried everything: Just A-mold, CSQ, HHR, DSQ, FDL.
Of those, HHR sounds the best by far.
Notice that un-inlaid chips (i.e. hot-stamped) are heavier than inlaid ones.

Interestingly, all vowels in modern Greek are long (as you may have noticed during your travels).
Unless meticulously educated in English, Greeks cannot distinguish (in English) a ship from a sheep, a shit from a sheet, or a bitch from a beach.

Krish have you played a full set of CSQ molds sir? For me hands down that is by far the best of their molds followed by Diamond Square (those Black Cats you played in Dallas) then Scrown, the jockeys are cool, but the B mold has a lot of grip (very textured like the A mold)

Still kind of a noob I was curious, is there a difference between MD-50 and Diamond Square?

Only time I’ve touched CPC chips is at meetups. The CSQ looks overly busy to me.
