Well yeah I'm a pesky rodent that won't go away! That's how I scored number one on the quiz!

How else am I going to learn more about
your high level connections in Vegas, the actor from Rounders that plays in your game, your source for the birdcages, what it's like being one of the only people in the world with hyperthymesia, the other cars that you own, and all the other cliff hangers sure to be on quiz #2!?!?!?

That's a bit condescending. I'm not sure how my posts in this thread are disruptive, or how they coax @BarrieJ3 to continue to post in the thread, but I certainly don't want to overstay my welcome.

I'll see myself out now.

so I guess my long-held out hope of a giraffe sample set isn't happening. I will have to just numb the pain of disappointment by winning 1st place and using that as trade bait for one. :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:

I’m planning the first Windwalker Bi-Annual Invitational, my invite-only tournament extravaganza for people I have done business with, sold to, bought from, gotten help from, advice from, and other relationship-building activities.

One of the prizes in it will be a nice surprise from the Giraffe arsenal.

more quizes. yay!

Looks like all seat winners are registered on the site. Everyone should have a ticket for entry into the tourney. Registration will open up Saturday night.

I'd encourage everyone to practice playing on one of the cash tables (you should have play money chips in your account already) to get a feel for the interface.

Pro-tip: under Options > Table Settings you can customize
  • Auto muck on/off (lets you decide between mucking and showing your hand when showdown isn't required)
  • Four-color deck
  • Custom bet-sizing
Also: some tips for mobile users.

A few updates.

1. @ovo no longer has to work, and so because he was out only one-outer, I am inclined to let him play. Don't worry, @grantc54 -- your slot is safe as well.

2. If you plan to rail / watch, please register on the site, and make sure to use as close to your PCF name as possible (the site doesn't accept spaces and has a 12 character limit.)

3. The tournament begins at 11am Pacific (2PM EST / 6PM GMT / 5AM +1day Australia) Sunday Oct 25 on the same site. Registration for the tournament (different from registering on the site) will be open at 6PM Pacific Saturday Oct 24. All players in the tournament already have tickets assigned. Once you are logged in, click on the "tournaments" tab. You will see this screen:

Choose "The Windwalker 1000" and this screen will pop up.

If you have a ticket, you will be allowed to register.

4. If you want to watch / rail, once the tournament begins, you will be able to choose "Observe Table" and chat within the group chat system.
