I was wondering why they didn't put your name up in blue like everyone else. It's not like they don't know who you are... Then I saw it! And I just got new glasses too...
I’m not, I’m headed to Dallas.Krish,
Are you playing HCL on Friday? If so, DiD will miss you!
That's a bit disappointing for a Plaque.
Plaques were made 5 years ago and never put into play. Brought out for the first time.Gross. I thought you said they were listening to your suggestions?!
When you say "registering new cards" are we seeing the process of recording the RFID UID to card in the software?
Yep! Every time they change the deck, they need to register each card’s UID to the software so it knows which card is which. They’re about to change the table, ever since they changed the felt to the WPT one, the readers have been acting up. They’re increasing the surface area for the readers at each hole card location, and they’re adding a rail camera at each seat as a backup, in case the cards don’t read. When you say "registering new cards" are we seeing the process of recording the RFID UID to card in the software?
If so, neat! I wondered how the big boys did it.
Haven't seen a stream do this in a long time. Not sure on the whole operation when it comes to RFID tables, but cameras would seem more consistantly reliable unless costs are more of a factor.Yep! Reliable in that they always run . Sure. I think in the past (maybe long gone) it was manually entered, so a human data entry which reduces reliability. The old flat camera hole version would have been very easy for a computer to image capture though. I'm sure it could be done with a rail camera as well, just more variables in the capture and baseline data needed. Also what if someone wants to play blindHaven't seen a stream do this in a long time.
