Pair
This came up recently in our home tournament. One player got knocked out after buy back and wanted to buy a remaining players stack of chips. We all said no but would you allow a player to buy another player's chips?
This is the way most of us leaned as well. Thought it might lead to some salt.No. Was playing in a regular home game once and a husband got knocked out of the tournament. His wife said she wasn’t feeling well so she went home and he took over her stack.
It upset the game. It took about a year for people to get over it. The game even moved and didn’t tell them for weeks one time.
Seems a fair reaction, really. Collusiony.No. Was playing in a regular home game once and a husband got knocked out of the tournament. His wife said she wasn’t feeling well so she went home and he took over her stack.

No just a single buy back tournament. The real answer is a rebuy tournament. If no rebuys, you’re out when you’re out. No exceptions.
