Granted I cashed in my SECOND WSOP event ever............but that first one stung.....

I would stick with your current strategy. It's not broken, don't fix it especially between days. If you want to shift from nitty to normal, do it during the day, after players think you are a nit. Make the table image work for you.

Remember, as you get closer to the money, many opponents will tighten up - especially the short stacks. That is the best time to open your range to your normal comfort level. No need to go all the way to loose though - Nobody will win it on day 2 or day 3. Thousands will lose on those days though.

You need to water your tomatoes, but don't drown them.

Day 1a of Event #3: Big 50 - $500 No-Limit Hold’em is a wrap. The first flight drew a massive field of 6,148 entries, putting this tournament on track to be the largest in WSOP history. The survivors of this flight will be returning for Day 2a on Friday, May 31st at 5 p.m. local time to continue to battle towards a guaranteed $1 million top prize.

Day 1A was scheduled to restart at 2:00. The field was so big yesterday, and expecting the same today, they must have moved the restart to 5:00.

Easier said than done, but no need to be nervous. I would stick with your current strategy, it seems to be working just fine. Don’t worry about who your sitting next to or the size of their stack. You’ll figure out quickly who’s easy money and who to stay away from. Have the mindset of a deep run, not just a min cash.
