I remember what happened now. I just found one of the original listings. The original seller just listed them as "Wynn Chips", providing no other information. We were all scratching our heads wondering what they were. Someone bought them up super cheap and discovered they were in fact Paulsons and got some pretty epic sets from the looks of it. Nice score!

Yeah, this is for real. Had I seen those I would have scooped.

I think you missed out on a deal. I had a sample set of these in 2007
 
I saw the large set with a BIN on eBay. I had just got back from a family vacation and was a bit broke at the moment. I called a friend of mine and told him he needed to scoop them immediately. He did and was able to score a couple more racks by trading a member here and from the original seller. He now has a 1000 chip killer set and has not as of yet posted them here.

last bid I saw was $824 and a picture of a bottle of Haig scotch, not sure if it was out "the rears" or not. For 260 chips, that puts them over the $3/chip I wanted to spend, so GLWS!

Everything I've heard, places Paulson as the manufacture. These even look and feel like the no molds that I know came from Paulson.
 
People should include in their bid how the whiskey is going to be delivered. I think theres a law about sending spirits through federal mail.

Thank goodness. I just ran the calculations, and depending on how thirsty you were the rest of your life, my bid might have ended up bankrupting me.

I was just an idiot and was responding about the Desert Palms in your thread. When I saw Rainman's post about them costing $.25 per chip I immediately thought of the Desert Palms thread and wasn't paying attention to which thread I was actually replying in. :oops:

Made in mexico means they are paulsons. Just got a set and they are paulsons. The shipping box verifies GPI produced them. And yes I hate to admit it they are nicer than the Stardust Tourney chips.
