Py coincidence I just had my best helles lager a couple of days ago: Helles Schlenkerla Lagerbier. Fresh and pearly as a helles schould be, with a delicate smoky aroma, as it is aged in their Rauchbier tanks.
If traditional German beers are your thing, it's pretty hard to go wrong with Weihenstaphaner. World class brewery and their house yeast strain is the only one I ever use when I brew my hefeweizen.

Much too often, coconut adds sweetness without substance to balance it. In this, To Øl Kokos Kaos, the coconut is roasted, and that is an exellent way to add a roasted edge to a lively porter.
