I love when breweries re-purpose old buildings! What did this place used to be?
It was first a federal building, built in 1927, then a library. Then a bunch of other things. Here’s a pretty boring write up. Hahahaha.

Stop one complete. HF still has the smoothest most well balanced IPAs I have tasted. Came for the IPAs but excited for the dandelion chocolate stout. They were sold out of the Society and Solitude I was looking for but someone just canceled an order before I arrived and was able to snag the last 4 of those.

St. Bernadus and this are probably my two favorite Belgians I've had. Can't go wrong with monk beer, that's for sure.
