Which TG? The menu is cut off.

I'm drinking this right now! And I'm in Iowa! Is this BETTER than the regular King Sue? Not really better. But different and just about as good. Which means it's REALLY GOOD!

It was Digital Dawn, quite good and went down a little too easy. I actually enjoyed the Robot Fish more as I really love Mosaic hops quite a bit.

I was staring at the lineup in the store this afternoon, and considered Digital Dawn. But the DDH King Sue kept calling my name. Probably should have bought both. Heading back to Texas tomorrow and generally can only find Pseudo Sue there. Which is great since a year ago they didn't distro anything to Texas.

I need to try some more of their beers. My local beer store has a limited selection from them, I mostly need to travel to certain pubs and stuff to sample them, same for a lot of others.

So I love their beer, AND I'm a native Iowan, but a lot of their double IPAs taste pretty similar. They're all really good, but just not that much different from each other. I suspect they stick pretty close to one grain bill and just mix up the hops. I do really love Pseudo Sue because it's a single - only about 5.5% ABV which just means I can drink more of them. Seriously, it's hard to make a really good NEIPA that's under 6%. A lot of breweries try, and they just end up watered down or they're not balanced and the hops are over powering. PS is definitely the best NEIPA under 6% in my opinion. And I've tried hundreds.

I live in a Canadian border town, and until recently would regularly drive or take the ferry into Michigan. I love a lot of stuff by Bell's. And it was everywhere! Meijer, BWW, small-town pizza joints.

I miss going anywhere for dinner and having a 2-hearted and trying the rotating seasonal.

Yeah, Bells is HUGE! Probably one of the 5-10 biggest craft breweries in the US. They make a lot of great beer, but there are also dozens of really great smaller breweries in Michigan. I think because of Bells who have been around since long before the craft beer craze. (30 years maybe?) Next time you're going to drive over, do some research and check out some of the smaller breweries. You'll probably find some new favorites. Not that two hearted isn't awesome. But variety... You know?

Just found this thread —nice!

I thought I'll drop this brand into the mix: Chateau Neubourg by Gulpener Brewery (Gulpen, The Netherlands) https://www.gulpener.nl/onze-bieren/chateau-neubourg/

For me, its a nice, more premium, pilsner with a touch of bitterness to it, bottled in a very nice blue bottle. It has a 5.5% alcohol percentage and retails around ~€1.40 per bottle.

"Contrary to most other pilsners, Château Neubourg is not for sale in all regular supermarkets; it is only available at upmarket venues, which makes Château Neubourg a truly exclusive pilsner. The abundance of fresh flavours enjoyed in Château Neubourg, from the fresh blossoms, the aromatic malts with hints of fruits to the complex herbal structure are all products of care and natural sustainable resources. Château Neubourg has been awarded a European Beer Star Award, making it one of the top three in the world. In addition, Château Neubourg was awarded 'Best Pilsner of the Netherlands' in 2015, 2016 and 2017 at the Dutch Beer Challenge"

With over 43,995 ratings on UNTAPPED, this beer is rewarded a 3.26
Beeradvocate scores it 81 points.

That's crazy how the can is shaped like a glass! I have never seen that before? I have had it on tap in Asian restaurants, just never seen those retail cans. I suspect it's not sold like that in the US. But now I'm going to be looking out to see.

That’s from Japan
They sell those large cans for all brands at the 7-11 type stores
That’s one of the coolest looking cans
