I never met a beer I didn’t like…but the one I drink most often is Modelo Negra. Really like most Mexican darks/ambers.

Red

Brewery tasting notes

Top notes of white wine and gooseberry, underpinnings of rounded tropical character, dangerous drinkability. Soft and smooth yet dry.

I wouldn't have picked out the white wine, but kinda taste it (maybe due to the alcohol being slightly forward).
Will have to step up my gooseberry intake so I remember what that tastes like ;)
Not getting too much tropical. Not bad, but this one is take it or leave it for me.

Is there such a thing as a girly beer? One look at this can and that’s all I thought...then I drank it. Holy cow this is a good stout just down the hill in Lakewood. You can really taste the cacao nibs coming through  :ROFLMAO:…wtf are cacao nibs?

I find that often the brewery description is how they WANTED the beer to turn out rather than how it really did... :(

Not sure if that's a serious question, but cacao nibs are raw pieces of cacao bean, which is what chocolate is made from. Stouts are often aged on cacao nibs after fermentation, but before they are bottled, canned or kegged to add a rich dark chocolate flavor to the beer.

I’ve seen cacao, but never nibs. Learn something every day

I don't do beer very often anymore but this local one was delicious!

I usually like Untitled Art’s beers. This one is just ok, probs not on the shopping list again though.
