I always go local when I can. I’ve been hooping around Denmark and Sweden and got to try a number of fantastic beers. The worst was Carlsberg- despite the tagline, it is definitely NOT the best beer in the world. Sadly, I didn’t record any of them.

I hit Dublin yesterday and again failed to photo the great local stout (JW Sweetman) and Rockshore Irish Lager last night. But today, we have Hope. I love stopping for a pint on a walk, the Europeans do it right.

So far. not a bad beer A very good beer.

Somehow, the Irish offered a selection of happy hour beers that included not a single local option.

It was this German Erdinger Weißbier, Corona, or Heineken. Apparently, Dublin loves Heineken and Peroni.

Fortunately, the Erdinger was good and made my meeting better.

This one was from Barcelona. I have to say if this is what Spain calls a "Pastry Stout" they are missing out!!!!!!!!!
This one was horrible. I would call it more of a Brown Ale.
Carbonated, thin, just weak all around for a Pastry Stout.
