How do you do your bloody mary's? I've tried a bunch and my favorite is a pint glass full of ice 50/50 vodka and zing zang with two shakes of hot sauce. The zing zang is almost perfect by itself.

I do vodka first -- 2 to 3 fingers worth, depending on how fat your sausage fingers are...2.5 for me. Then ice to 3/4 full. Then I add the Zing Zang (which absolutely is the best pre-made mix I have EVER had). I added 3 shakes of the Aardvark b/c the Zing Zang is not really spicy.

If I had my way, I would have added garlic stuffed olives, a dash of horseradish, bacon, maple beef jerkey, and a tiger prawn...but non essential and all....

Had this delicious dubbel with a big bowl of my own chili last night. I don't know who this Morghulis guys was, but the beer was delicious. Ommegang makes great brews...

BTW, I believe this bottle was a bounty or something similar from this year's SQM, so thank you once more to whomever provided it!

After a great bloody mary, it is the Crux IPA. It is absolutely delicious! I have to laugh that they call this "Crux IPA". The reason is that they always seem to have 10 IPA's on tap that are always rotating and evolving. I have seen, Cast Out, Battlestar, Vicky's Gone Troppo, Sugar Daddy, Off Leash, Gimme Mo, Krystal Juice, Dr. Jack Fresh Hop, Gated Community Brut, Bubble Wrap Hazy, Velvet Pants, Velvet Underpants, and countless others with great names. So for them to actually name a beer "Crux IPA" cracks me up!

damn, it's only 10:30am -- looks like a nap is on my to do list for a very busy schedule today!
