faded spade 3.0 coming out (1 Viewer)

I can’t remember which thread it was in, but a couple guys talked about their 3.0s bowing. Using mine tonight, I noticed an ever-so-slight Bo to them. It’s so minimal that I don’t know that I would have noticed without it being mentioned previously, but there definitely is some going on. I hope it doesn’t get worse. I still like the 3.0s, but this makes my liking of the 2.0s even more now.

I would say mine are bowed slightly (like a snowboard) which makes them easier to deal and slide better. It's not really noticeable in the deck, but I remember noticing it individually. I was thinking it was designed this way.

Well, maybe I finally give them a try....
Very polarizing cards, but I love their poker sized 3.0 and WPT cards and the artwork is fun.players picked them as their favorite, but we havent seen the splitting that others have. I got one setup that was bowed but Im convinced that man was just bending all his cards.

Each version has had some goofy drawback, maybe they've improved maybe they haven't! Enough card nuts on here that we'll get reviews!
If they somehow make a card that won't bow, won't split, and isn't so slippery, I'd buy and keep some. Each iteration has had one of those things. They went in the right direction with 2.0 but went totally the wrong way with 3.0.

So far the .5 editions have been my favorite. There was a release between 2.0 & 3.0 that I call the 2.5's & I've had them for over 5 years w/ 0 issues at all & have used a massive amount. Their 3.5 New WPT are different than the 3.0's & I've also had 0 issues. Have used them probably 10 sessions. No bowing like the 3.0.

Maybe the even 4.0's will be the one?

I have 5 setups, no issues, and all of my players love them. I have 0 issues with them
Same here. I was going to snap buy some more setups at $19.99 but realized I still have some NIB because they are lasting so long compared to my past setups.

Im just ordered some of the 3.0. I had the early decks when they first came out and the cards kept coming apart. Haven't used them in years because of it. We will see how the 3.0 does. Ive always loved the artwork they use.

I don’t understand how these guys are still in business. You only ever see them in televised games on TV or YouTube where its just product placement cards given for free. Go into those actual AC or Vegas casinos, sit at a table in their actual card rooms…and you will mostly see Kems and maybe the rare Gemaco appearance (usually for a tourney). What you won’t see is Faded Spade.

For a time I saw some Faded Spade on poker vlogs at card rooms in TX but you don’t even see that anymore. Two years ago a dealer at Harrahs in AC said they had handled them at a tournament he dealt in somewhere and all the dealers complained. I don’t get it.

When watching streams I see chinese Queens a lot

I just ordered a set of the midnight bridge size for my collection. I hear good things about their cards
Be careful. This was an x-ray taken of a dealers hands after just one night of shuffling Faded Spade playing cards. So sad

I just received my set of 4-Color Poker Size, and my first impression is that these are the best cards I've ever handled (maybe that will change). I find I'm able to table riffle shuffle them pretty easily, whereas with Copag's I can't.
