I see the washed out part you are talking about on the dark blues and blacks across all chips. Doesn’t happen to every chip but it happens. I too am going to do a limit set if I ever figure out the art.

Always appreciate your input
The base color of my limit chips would be black. Would look to do the black chip with the 8V spot with bright white and day green alternating. Not quite like the stock option offered, but I did order a stack of 25 to get a sense of how the colors will print! Could have just been the pink/purple on the sample that doesn't show well.

My black sample shows no wash out and is dark throughout where it is supposed to be. Any idea of the percentage of perfect to washed out so we can order accordingly?? They really are great chips and that’s in a direct comparison to Paulson and BCC. Try some, you will see I’m being truthful.

Got my samples in yesterday but wanted to sleep on it before offering any input. Some random thoughts:

-the yellows on these are fantastic!

-as are the light sherbet greens

-the blaze orange is going to be really hard to replicate. This was the only one of the BTP sample I didn't feel was even close to the Paulson equivalent. The bright pinks are going to be tough too.

-the bearclaws and 6 moons printed fantastically! Complicated spot patterns aren't going to be an issue here. I presume edge alignment is baked into the current price?

-the colors printed onto the black based chip were washed out looking on the chip edge, but not on the face, which was strange and didn't encounter on any other of the chips.

-but yeah, the feel of these are an absolute home run. The 43mm's, in particular. There's honestly little to separate these from a feel standpoint to IHC molded Paulson clays.

If I go through with a purchase, I'm going to go big. A 24 rack limit set for a single 8 player table (three racks per player so no value chip is needed for the set), as well as a 200/200/200/400/160/40 cash set (nickels through $100's), as well as a two table 240/240/120/200/80/20 tournament set (T25 through T25k).

Can't wait! Hop in!

I’ll bet none of my players will say these are ceramic. No smell, no pip on the edge, thorough coloring all the way into the mold lines, and the FEEL! They have a real competitor here for a bargain price. I’m sorry to say I packed my first sample up today for the first person I found in the list that wanted them. I’m on the list for the next sample though and am having a designer help me get a big tourney set going. I’ve been thinking about getting rid of a clay set to make room for these, but they are priced so well I can keep what I have. My next purchase for sure!

Yep, these chips are amazing. Feel and colors are excellent. Much better than CMs. Can’t wait to get started on a custom set design!

@justincarothers in your development of these did you pick a different base plastic than the blanks used for card molds? To me these feel totally different in every way and I don’t think different molding could really account for that. I’m just curious how the selection process went
These were a year in the making. We looked and multiple different options and came up with what you have in your hands

I feel like it’s almost a misnomer to call these “ceramics” since they definitely don’t feel like ceramic compared to other “ceramic” poker chips eg. card mold, brp, sunfly etc.
