Things That Are Bullsh*t (78 Viewers)

Getting spammed with this bullshit everywhere. I was ignoring it but it just won’t go away. I started reading comments here and there on their social media links and apparently everyone who bought loves them and everybody else can’t wait to get a set. Do I keep biting my tongue or do I go full internet warrior?

They make excellent shower curtain rings for that Pirate themed bathroom

Some Jacksonville asshole picked one of our robots out of the ocean off Florida. The thing obviously has GPS so we know exactly where it is, problem is its not in the water. We had just put it out, tons of work calibrating and deploying, and someone thinks they found a cool souvenir that looks like a torpedo and keeps making whirring sounds.

Now we've gotta call local authorities and spin up a response, $300k robot sitting on a private dock, likely resting on a sensor worth thousands because they dont have our specialized carts.

Its a bad day, man. Heres a pic of us ballasting the damn thing. 6 ft, 150 pounds, this took effort to get onto their boat!

If only Mark Rober was a chipper. Could get him to install a marine glitter bomb or fart sprayer.

More seriously, is it an offense to interfere with such instruments? If isn't, it should be.
Yes, very serious but takes a lot of paperwork and BS. Usually just a pain for us.

If they're adamant about finders keepers, we've sent National Guard to scare the crap out of them before. Everyone's tough until you've got a bunch of annoyed military men on your front lawn.

Lol, not a weapon! Robot listening for right whale migrations and measuring current patterns in coastal US. Really useless for everyone else, there's no resale value because all the users talk and we know as soon as its turned on.

This is a robot. I don’t know what your yellow missile is.

Is the military planning to use the whales? Are they gonna install lazers on them? Please tell me they're going to weaponize whales with lazers.

Bro probably think he found one of those UFOs that have been "coming out of the water" and flying over NJ lol.

What does this drone do?

Few kind of hydrophones and oceanographic sensors! Listening for whales and slowing shipping traffic down in those areas.

Especially if you tell them “it’s leaking radiation from being removed from the salt water” and “that’s how you found it, from tracking the radiation across country with a drone”.

If you're such an "independent thinker" that you thought is would be fine to lift a working drone out of the water and take it home, you probably also think "leaking radiation" would turn you into a Marvel superhero.
