1/4 and 1/2 pies please... You got a fave? (1 Viewer)

No one has love for 1/2 pie?

I do, haven't built these yet but it's on my wishlist for the next year to get complete:

Classic Movie Monsters 1/2 Pie Custom Poker Chips

I may wind up calling this set the Monster Mash set, could look good for the dealer button.

I think you need to clear 10,000+ chips before seeing any sort of discount, and even then, yeah, pricey. Plus, I was kinda looking forward to having a legendary set of my own similar to all the other amazing ones out there associated with a specific chipper

Has this been confirmed? Last I heard there were no discounts regardless of quantity. My information may be outdated.

I could be wrong or remembering from something else. Never ordered from CPC so not sure, thought I had read something, but for now ignore my comment because I don't want to spread incorrect info

I totally respect that. It's a testament to an excellent concept, color choices, and spot pattern.

...and my wallet would thank you.

Found it: http://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/cpc-general-discussion-thread.3879/#post-15720

Due to the handmade nature of our clay chips, and the fact they can only be pressed 15-25 at a time, there is no economy of scale unless we were making 10,000 and up of the same chip. All the prices in the table have been calculated based on the exact time we expect them to take to manufacture with the lowest margin possible just to recoup our investment over quite a few years.

So essentially we'd need to have 10,000 of a specific chip (i.e. 10,000 of the mummy chips, then 10,0000 of the wolfman, etc) being created in order to receive a discount on that chip, and there's six different chips in my set as an example

I also get it. However I'm on the other side of the spectrum. If someone wanted to use my sunset design for a chip set I'd be completely honored. Maybe ask if they wanted to contribute a few bucks for the design :) I honestly wouldn't mind if anyone wanted use it.

At what, about 2 bucks per chip. I realistically couldn't even afford a one table set :(

I guess with this I just really wanted to have my own unique set in the poker chipping world. And yeah, I wouldn't have been able to afford it, but I picked up a part-time 2nd job @ night and I'm working 60 hrs+/week to pay off debts and then build a separate poker bankroll plus money for a new computer I'm going to build and obviously this chipset. Gotta work hard to play hard :D

First I've seen this set? More pictures? The 100 chip is a "touch" busy for me. Otherwise this is damn near perfect :)

I completely understand. When this set eventually comes to fruition, and if you decide to let anyone in on this. Call me. If I have the loot I'd get a 500 chip set in a heart beat. If I don't have the loot I'll just admire it from afar.

California Club over on CT about five years ago. Gil had some wonderful photos over there but they have been lost over time still a few shots of them in a custom case.
I saw he was last logged on about a month and a half ago.

Maybe if he gets time @AlbinoDragon can upload them over here too

I'll add couple more photos to my post above

That's why you have to collect multiple heads-up sets. Then, one night, you can host a heads up tourney.

Crap, I just talked myself into needing more chips...

Has anyone posted the mockup of the Blades limited edition half pie? I love the creativity that went into that one and it's one of my favorites of all time just for the uniqueness, I hope the finished product turns out half (get it?) as nice as the mockups look.
