The back and forth about your voting choice is exactly what I hoped this bracket would result in. I want to hear what sets people like, but I also want to hear
WHY they like those sets. And I also want to hear what people
DON'T like about sets. I think the discussions will be interesting and lead to new insights from a design perspective that I might not have considered beforehand.
With
NAGB chips, if I don't like them, or don't like the price, I'm not going to buy them. Same way with your opinions about chips. If I disagree with your opinions, I'll read them and move on. But I want to hear opinions. What I won't do is get butt hurt about anyone's opinion. That might be easier for me to say because I don't have a chip in the bracket.
It's pretty obvious that to
@detroitdad, edgespot progression is pretty important. Others may not have even ever considered that And thus, people get new perspectives on chips. If DD doesn't like your edgespot progression on a set, I would hope he'd say why... Then others learn. And of course, if you disagree with DD on what good progression is, discount his opinion and move on. But the conversation is still worth having, IMO.
Everyone put on their big boy pants, get ready for lots of pron, and let's do this! Really great efforts by
@bsdunbar1 to get this train rolling, IMO. I started with a 2020 thread because I didn't think there was any way to get to this point before the close of 2019.
@bsdunbar1 proved me wrong on that.
